Give thanks for family!!!

Family comes in all shapes & sizes & especially personalities. I am the middle of 5 kids and am extremely thankful for my siblings! My parents taught me to always be myself and to love with all my might! Even though I grew up with the traditional family persona doesn't mean we didn't have our struggles. But with each & every passing year we grew stronger together! Give thanks for family! 

The Johnsons! Surprise Baby Annoucement

Yes it's the trend these days to have a creative baby Annoucement & I don't mind one bit to apart of such a special moment for the couple. Sometimes photographers can be super aggressive with "their own creative ideas" and not give their clients a platform to share theirs. This entire shoot was designed by the beautiful mommy to be. I just showed up & shut up. Remember clients you are just as creative as anyone else don't be afraid to share your ideas:)

The Rutherfords!

I was so excited when I got the message about shooting the Rutherfords family portraits. I had the privilege a few years ag to take their family portraits & to see all the girls so big & beautiful literally made my jaw dropped. Thank you Eric & Leslie for allowing me to capture your beautiful growing girls! 

Baby Millie turns 1

Upon my recent visit to one of my favorite home towns (T-town) I was able to be apart of a very special day for Baby Millie. She was turning one & her sweet mommy, also a childhood friend, asked me to take some pics of Millie & the family which just so happened one of the loveliest families ever! Thank you Sarah for letting me be apart of this special moment with Millie. She is so full of life & has a smile that brightens a room. 

Zehder Family Pics

I LOVE this time of the year where families get together to take their annual family pics for the holidays. I love to see how the children are getting older and the love between the parents just keeps getting richer and richer. I especially enjoyed taking pics of this beautiful family. I've known Chris and Cristy since high school. Cristy sat in the delivery room with me until mid-night giving me foot massages and making sure i was well taken care of (I'd like to think to sat in for my beloved sister Angel who lives in Kansas City and was unable to be with me during my delivery, the two of them are BFF's) Cristy was one of the few whom inspired me to pick up my first camera. I owe all of my creative outlet to her. Thank you Cristy for believing in me. I will cherish you forever!!!
